Project Overview:
Polytan partnered with Paynter Dixon to successfully execute this project involving the design and construction of a high-quality synthetic turf system at Hills Grammar School in Kenthurst, NSW. The project involved the design and construction of a high-quality playing surface, landscape turf and associated items.
The project commenced with preparation of the subgrade by other contractors followed by the installation of a geocomposite membrane and a free draining base pavement.
The core elements of this project were the supply and installation of Polytan’s popular products including a FIFA tested and certified synthetic turf system, LigaTurf HB250 with a 25mm elastic layer shock pad to provide cushioning and support enhancing player comfort and safety during activities on the surface.
Kiln dried sand and locally sourced SBR black rubber infill were used contributing to the turf’s shock absorbing properties, playability, and performance.
Additionally, Polytan’s expertise in installing synthetic turf extended to the installation of SYNLawn Classic 35, a premium landscape turf solution with sand infill. This landscaping option was chosen for its versatility and naturally looking appearance.
The inclusion of FIFA tested products underscores Polytan’s commitment to delivering high quality and performance driven synthetic turf systems suitable for various sports and recreational activities.
