Project Overview:
Frankston High School is well-known for its sporting prowess, so Polytan was only too happy to add to their already comprehensive range of sports facilities. Polytan was engaged by the school to design and construct a new two-lane jogging track with five sprint lanes around an existing oval.
The Results:
Polytan’s experienced team designed and constructed the running track to maximise space while minimising the impact of surrounds and school access.

They met all of our custom requirements to fit a competition standard but modified size track around our oval in consideration of the limitations of space. The students were thrilled that a custom 375 metre track could fit around our existing school oval, which also included an 80 metre sprint section. Polytan had a professional team with very specific skills and experience who completed the earthworks, base construction and then the final rubber crumb specialist installation. The students love the convenience of not having to travel to external venues for training, and the school results are better than ever with many students representing the school at state and national athletics titles.”
