Project Overview:
The design and construct contract for the conversion of Cromer Park #2 field to synthetic was secured by Polytan with the challenge to meet open space access to the field and incorporate the new synthetic field into the existing, surrounding three natural turf football fields.
This project was significant in that to meet a budget it represented our first LigaTurf field certified to the FIFA Quality program without a shockpad!
Our drainage and layout design solution proved to be a winner and the new LigaTurf field has been heavily used by Manly Warringah Football Association.
The Results:
The field was finished off with a designed field fence to meet Council’s preferred ‘look’ and good quality goals and dugouts – a great solution for all parties
