Project Overview:
The Covid-19 lockdown of 2020 and 2021 gave many sporting clubs and major venues the opportunity to upgrade their facilities. Marvel Stadium in the Docklands, Melbourne was one such venue. Spot on Synthetics contracted Polytan to replace the surrounds of the grounds with the Australian made LigaTurf HB260 synthetic grass system, which included a 25mm recycled rubber shockpad (elayer).
The Results:
Marvel Stadium is one the country’s largest venues seating 55,000 people and hosting top level sporting games for AFL, Rugby League/Union, A-League and Cricket as well as international music concerts.
