23 June – 1 July 2018 • Rabobank Hockey Men’s Champions Trophies in Breda, Netherlands


Come and see us at the Rabobank Hockey Men’s Champions Trophies in Breda, Netherlands on Saturday 23rd June – Sunday 1st July 2018. Only phenomenal international teams will be playing the 37th and last edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy for Men. Every year two teams get an exclusive invitation from the FIH Board to compete based on their prior performance at the Champions Trophy and Champions Challenge. There’s no better time or place in the year to see your favourite sport being played in the biggest home to hockey with over 320 hockey clubs and more than 255,000 hockey players across the Netherlands. Breda won the award for the ‘best inner-city of Holland 2017-2019’, so this event will be an exciting hockey extravaganza not to be missed! This is your last chance to attend the biggest men’s hockey event for the year. 16 – 18 July 2018 • National Sports Convention


As our population grows and wants to play more often outdoors, the sporting surfaces available need to be able to cope with the demand of our community and the needs of types of athletes. Bringing together global and Australian leading thinkers, practitioners and case studies to showcase technology, management practices and innovative solutions that can improve playing capacity on fields and synthetic playing surfaces.

As part of the National Sports Surfaces Conference, Polytan will be exhibiting at stand 270 this year, and welcome you to come and say hello.  The National Sports Surfaces Conference will explore how the latest innovative thinking is assisting all surface types evolve for better usage, and how by installing technology into or near these surfaces, it allows more for greater experiences that are changing sport and athlete experiences for the better.

Polytan’s very own General Manager – Paul Kamphuis will also be speaking in Plenary Keynote Session 3, on Wednesday 18th July, and sharing some key considerations on the planning, usability and functionality of synthetic surfaces for all abilities, including the recent outcomes of the Fearnley Dawes Athletic Centre, the second in the world to feature a wheelchair lane for elite athletes training purposes.

SmarTracks – The Intelligent running tracks for trainers and athletes who want to know more.  

As part of the National Sports Surfaces Conference, Polytan are also excited to be showcasing LIVE DEMONSTRATIONS of our SmarTracks technology at this year’s event.

What is this new technology?

Polytan SmarTracks is a sophisticated professional training diagnostic system for everyday use.  With this system it is easier, quicker and cheaper to create detailed documentation and evaluations of training content.

How can I see Polytan SmarTracks technology in action?

Live demonstrations will take place daily in front of the Polytan stand with real athletes, and delegates are certainly welcome to try out the system and technology for themselves on the day.

Polytan work to empower athletes from grassroots through to Olympians to reach their full potential and greatest performance. With this latest SmarTracks technology, athletes of all levels can benefit from this diagnostic system to help reach new benchmarks, manage training sessions, reduce injuries, much more!

Polytan are once again apart of the National Sports Surfaces Industry Tour.

Conducted on Monday 16th July 2018, Register HERE to visit the Head office of Sport Group Asia Pacific where Polytan work hand in hand with APT to design, manufacture, and produce the highest quality synthetic playing surfaces available.  Our Hall of Fame manufacturing facility will blow you away, and is a great place to start when looking to create your next synthetic sporting facility.

The Poligras Super League, which first began in 2012, is fast becoming Hockey Queensland’s signature event where the best hockey in the State is celebrated in a carnival-type atmosphere that includes a welcome breakfast, awards ceremonies and more.
