Project Overview:

Polytan was delighted to build a new synthetic football field for the local Warragul community. Working closely with a local civil engineering firm Polytan began work in early 2021 at the Baxter Park site.

Polytan’s experienced project team managed the full scope of works which included:
• The installation of the Australian made LigaTurf HB250 system installed to meet FIFA Quality program requirements, along with a natural turf warm-up area.
• Perimeter fencing, a DDA compliant access ramp and stairs extending to the clubhouse which sat high on an embankment overlooking the new field.
• An upgraded car park with additional parking

The Results:

Polytan was able to deliver the Baw Baw Shire Council significant cost savings by recommending an alternative to importing materials for the base layers by recommending a subgrade stabilisation.
