Project Overview:
Bayside City Council in NSW selected Polytan to convert the Arncliffe Oval football field into an all-weather, high quality synthetic playing surface to accommodate the high usage by the local community.
Polytan provided the scope of design and construction services to deliver the project which included:
• The installation of the LigaTurf HB250 synthetic turf system which includes a ProPlay Sport23 shock pad layer for added player protection.
• A drainage solution for the park as well as the nearby residents.
• Much consultation with stakeholder groups to tailor the design and implementation practices to suit local residents, the area’s heritage, and local traffic.
The Results:
Polytan and the Bayside City Council were pleased that the finished facility integrated seamlessly into its surrounds and met the increased demand for the sport in the area.
